October 4th – October 9th, 2023

There are only three rooms left for this tour!

The landscape of Piedmont in Langhe-Roero and Monferrato is the first vineyard landscape in Italy to become a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  This region is filled with rolling hills, quaint villages, prized vineyards and gastronomic traditions. It is home to Italy’s most famous red wine Barolo and the even more preeminent epicurean delicacy the white truffle. With all of these culinary treasures it is not hard to understand that it was in this region where the Slow Food Movement began back in 1986.

Butch will strike out on his first tour of the Piedmont region during white truffle season.  On this premier tour of the Piedmont you will visit wineries producing Barolo, you will visit and learn about the other wines of the region including Barbaresco and Barbara and Asti. You will also experience a truffle hunt, a truffle fair and learn to cook with truffles.
